Our holoiday catalog is being printed and is due to arrive in our store and your mailbox the third week in October.
 

Sugar Skull Workshop
Fri Oct 16. 4 pm. Fee $8
Dia de Los Muertos is a celebration throughout Latin America. It takes place on the 1st and 2nd of November. An interesting and fun part of this celebration are the traditional Sugar Skulls that children decorate. Attend this hands on workshop where we will learn a little about the tradition and have fun decorating with traditional materials. Older kids can use the icing to draw on their skulls, and younger kids can have fun decorating with wikki sticks. We will have some traditional snacks, and make paper marigolds, another activity for Dia De Las Muertas. Because of time constraints, the sugar skull blanks will be made in advance, but we will demonstrate how they are made and provide each participant with a blank to decorate. We'll be getting ready by clearing out one of a kind items, summer toys, discontinued games and many other wonderful toys that need a home - at prices that will have you finishing your shopping before the season starts - though you'll also get a chance to preview some of our great new things... you may not be able to resist. Sale starts Thursday Oct 22 and runs through Sunday Oct. 25th.
