Where are All Your Classroom Decorations?

You may find some classroom decorations for sale on our website, especially for seasons and events, such as the Olympics. We have not included most of our Bulletin Board Sets, Posters etc. for the simple reason that they are difficult for us to mail. They are big, and bend easily. We also think they don't look anywhere near as nice on the web as they do in person, so for these items, shop locally!

I Can't Find Something I Know You Have...

We are adding items to our site all the time, but it's quite a job. Some things we just don't think would work on the site, like pencils and theme units, but we are happy to help you on the phone, or send us an email.

Do You Have Other Locations?

We just have one location in Pleasanton California. We are working to make this web site our virtual location everywhere!

Which Workbook is the Best?

We have been selling workbooks for 30 years. We got rid of our bad workbooks a long time ago! So no bad workbooks, but we do sell several workbooks that cover the same subject area. For example, for 3rd grade math we offer Advantage Math from CTP, Basic Skills from Steck Vaughn, and Skill Sharpeners from Evan Moor. Each book covers 3rd grade math based on NCTM standards. Each one has a slightly different approach. The approach should be apparent from the description of the item, but if you have any questions, please contact us!

Game Time at the Golden Apple

This year we have decided to feature some of the great games. Playing games is a great way to pass the time during summer, and we would love to teach kids a few of our favorites. Every Wednesday at 1 pm, starting June 18th, kids are invited to stop in and play games for an hour. We will have several games and an activity or two ready. Ages 5 -12 are invited.
