Dia de Los Muertos is a celebration throughout Latin America. It takes place on the 1st and 2nd of November. An interesting and fun part of this celebration are the Sugar Skulls that children decorate.

Holiday Catalog Arrives This Month
Our Toy Catalog has been redesigned; bigger and filled with choice toys from companies new and old. The catalog is due to arrive in customer's mailboxes the last half of October. It includes coupons for savings each month, and wonderful educational toy ideas for every child.
If you don't receive yours in the mail, come on down to the store and get a copy, we have extras for the asking.

A Message from Johnm
Fall is my favorite season at the store... school's in session and all the crazy back-to-school pressure is over. The holidays are coming, and every day brings boxes of toys, many ordered back in February. The rhythm of the school year takes over -kids and teachers are excited about learning! I get to do my Sugar Skulls Workshop which is my favorite workshop, Bill Harley visits on the 22nd, and our new holiday catalog arrives in the mail around the last week of October.
A special note about Bill Harley's Visit
- it's early in the afternoon, so kids can come straight from school - we would love to have whole classes come meet Bill, and he would be thrilled with a huge turnout! If you're interested in bringing a group, send me an email and we'll make sure we have room for you.
